As the son of a naval officer, I spent much of my childhood traveling. My father always preferred warm duty stations and my family eventually ended up in Sicily, in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, where I was first introduced to Italian wines at a young age.
Upon leaving the Navy, I returned to my family in Temecula and was introduced to my first California wine tasting. This new enjoyable experience brought an end to my career in the computer industry and began my passion for wine.
